I'd never heard of this band until a week ago but I can safely say they have escalated to my top 25. The only way I can describe them is to say they sound like a more melodic and mellow Decemberists, but not really.

Funny, remember how I said I had a few albums I needed to get to you that I thought you'd like? Weakerthans was at the top of that list. The props go to Scott for the tip. I have Fallow and some other one ripped.
I'm on my way to find some samples. Thanks for the lead guys. I became a big Decemberists fan this year, and saw them live in Bloomington, IN a few months back!
cool jaxe, they're one of my favs as well. I'm told they're almost a direct copy of Neutral Milk Hotel, though I've never heard NMH.
